This was for a contest about the Uplift Universe in the novels by David Brin. In these novels, an alien civilization has introduced mankind to genetic acceleration of animals, uplifting them to sentience and participation in galactic civilization. Here I have shown some smugglers trying to sell an alien race of avians the common parrot, a fine uplift candidate.
